“Work Tools”, beyond the bag
#cdcfortalents presents Fabio Zanin

We have talked several times about the #cdcfortalents project and we have already had the opportunity to show some beautiful works born from the collaboration between CDC Luxury and some young talents.

The “Work Tools” bag, created by Fabio Zanin during his journey within IED, perfectly represents the spirit and intentions that push our company to constantly confront new ideas, but especially fresh.

In this accessory, belonging to the “Damage Compliant” collection, there is a real ideal that is communicated precisely through a style, a design and well-defined aesthetic choices. Fabio Zanin spoke of the mixture of icons of the world of work and torture tools with the aim of offering a food for thought: “on the superficiality of appearance on the idol that hides reality through its dematerialization and deception”

In summary, with the “Work Tools” Zanin did not simply want to create an original bag, using materials, workmanship and refined details, but communicate a thought. This accessory in fact has the ambitious intent to invite people to emancipate themselves from the collective experience and wants to overcome the post-modernist idea that everything has already been done or that everything belongs to a defined and well-known category.
